Inspired by demo scene culture and video game interfaces, the visual language blends digital references with a contemporary editorial grid, balancing a distinctive gaming aesthetic with a clear, refined presentation of its investment vision.

About the project
DENMU is a San Francisco investment house dedicated to video games, founded by Ryan You and Michael Fan with a first fund of 50 million dollars and an auteur-first approach: backing a creator's vision rather than a quarterly return, co-financing ten to twenty games with partners such as Blizzard North co-founder David Brevik on the team. With the agency New Normal, I art-directed and designed the website that carries this vision. The visual language borrows from demo scene culture and video game interfaces, with an animated logo, and sits on a contemporary editorial grid, so the gaming aesthetic never gets in the way of a clear, refined presentation of the investment thesis. Art direction, UX and UI design.
